Enduring Expanse

Here the ancient, rugged beauty of Mt Barney is dwarfed beneath the Milky Way as dawn approaches. As the full moon sets the spectacular colours of the lunar eclipse reflect off the rock faces of the mountain.

To be there and witness it was a real privilege. The effort and discomfort of getting there was washed away by in a mere moment by this scene of ancient enormity and great beauty.
